Coordinator Next Generation Ministries

Renew Covenant Church in Lynnwood, Washington is looking for a part-time Coordinator of Next Generation Ministries whose focus will be children and youth. We are seeking a ministry partner who is excited to focus on this area of ministry and is open to ministry in the Evangelical Covenant Church and the Pacific Northwest Conference. This is a part-time position with the goal of growing into a full-time role as the church continues to grow.

Renew’s mission is to be renewed by God for the renewal of our neighborhoods. We are a multiethnic church in Snohomish County, 16 miles north of Seattle. We strive to be a laid-back, community-oriented, relationally driven, and intentionally diverse community of faith. We aspire to live authentically, embodying Christ’s love, mercy, justice, and hope in ways that are meaningful to our neighbors. We dream to be witnesses and participants in God’s work of renewal in people, communities, and Creation.

Renew’s Next Generation Ministry is a multiethnic, intergenerational, and inclusive ministry where youth, children, and adults journey together, led by God’s Spirit, to become more like Jesus. At Renew, we believe children are essential parts of the church today, not just church people in waiting. It is our collective responsibility to partner with children, nurturing their connection to Jesus as cherished participants in a diverse, intergenerational community.

Our mission is to inspire a profound rootedness in Christ in every child through meaningful relationships, captivating stories, wonder, and joy. We want to impart to them a sticky faith involving a robust trust in God’s boundless love, a saving relationship with Jesus, and the transformative power of the Spirit. We desire for kids to discover their place in God’s great big love story—a story that honors diversity and reaches far beyond what they can imagine. Together, we commit to loving God, loving people,

and pursuing justice and peace in our world.
