  • We believe in creating spaces and a Christ-centered community where belonging, identity, and life calling take front-and-center before programs, bottom-line fiscal agendas, or leadership ceilings. Renew hopes to facilitate meaningful relationships with young adults among us and around us, while supporting the ways in which they are passionate about serving and making a difference.  In doing so, we endeavor to participate in God's work of recapturing the heart of young adult's for the Church.

Our Young Adults meet Friday evenings at 7pm--there's usually fun and eating involved.  Email Magdiel or Erica to get in the loop on events, outings, and service projects.

Renew is part of a ministry innovation initiative funded by the Lilly Foundation.  Check out Pivot Northwest to learn more.

  • Renew is excited about the utilizing the land next to the church as a community use space. In the immediate, we are inviting you, our neighbors, to help us revitalize the pre-existing 14 plots of garden mounds into an active community pea-patch. This community garden is, in our eyes, a microcosm of our overall identity and vision: bringing renewal to people, neighborhoods, and the Earth. We want to integrate the project into the overall ministry and whole life of our church. Through gardening, we can together fight a culture of isolation by building community and connecting as neighbors around common ground. The garden can also be good for the body and soul, by getting all of us outside and “in the dirt,” and by providing community members the opportunity to be outside in green space and allowing church members a chance for spiritual formation through the practice Creation Care. Also, fruits and vegetables harvested in the garden will be circulated into our foodbank ministry or donated to others in need.

Would you like to be part of the Renew Community Garden? Here is how you can be part:

    • take a walk around the garden and enjoy the beauty anytime!
    • donate seeds or plants
    • donate tools / gloves
    • sign up for a plot = prep the soil, choose what to plant and when, take part in our community work days, or work on your own schedule, water your plot, and harvest! (We have 14 plots which will be designated on a first come, first serve basis. You can share a plot with a friend if you want!)
    • Join us for “mostly indoor” winter days planning and thinking about the garden!
    • Invite friends who love to garden!
